The main objective of master degree programme is to carry out quality research and get acquainted with the deep knowledge about theoretical and practical aspects of discipline. College of Agriculture, Badnapur conducted research trial on various aspect of crop production, crop management, weed management, irrigation management, nutrient aspect, organic recycling, tillage etc. which was approved in the board studies at Dept. of Agronomy, VNMKV, Parbhani. Department of Agronomy, College of Agriculture, Badnapur mostly conducted research on crop and region specific need of farmer, which includes pulses, cereals and oilseed crops. As the Badnapur was identify and popular at national level due to AICRP on pulses, which was the strength of Agronomy for readily available research directives in the field of Agriculture.
College of Agriculture, Badnapur has 40 ha of land, along with 02 well and 01 lift irrigation project as irrigation source for conducting off season trials. The trials were arranged at college farm (PG) and depends on Chairman of Scientific advisory committee trials also conducted at Agriculture research station Badnapur and National Agriculture Research Project, Chh. Sambhajinagar. Besides Agronomical trials, students from Agronomy discipline was also engaged in the seed production programme for creating awareness among the students for quality and effective seed production practices.
